“The Holiday!”

TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE - 30 euro

The beautiful, historic Celbridge is home to the newly opened Roseville Wine House. Situated at the gates of Castletown House & Parklands Estate, this gem of a wine house is also home to artistic and cultural evenings. Run by the charismatic hiberno-Frenchman Peter Power, CRAICLY is delighted to join in on their launch month by bringing an evening of tales and social stories to the space. The team in Roseville House specialise in sourcing and serving french wines to enjoy there and to take home, and you can enjoy wonderful small plates and conversation in the two story wine house.

This event will open conversations and share accounts of “Holidays”. Those solo, family, group trips that account for most of our dreaming time, plans, ambitions, aspirations, adventures and more. Sometimes the planning far exceeds the event itself, but holiday will forever be jampacked with memories, anecdotes, family mishaps and glorious days. Our stories will break the Autumn season as storytellers take the mic with tales of holidays and journeys, personal anecdotes and family tales as we enjoy some wine, light plates! This event is limited with only 40 spaces!

PS - if you’re thinking of making an overnight or a weekend, there is are two Landmark Trust properties on the Castletown estate a very short walk from Roseville House

STORIES OF FOOD: Why do I do it? Celebrating food producer, sellers, growers an innovators. As part of the Waterford Food Festival we are looking forward enticing some of the hard working food producers to take an evening off and share some of their experiences and stories with us. We look forward to tales from organic beef farmers, foresters, veg farmers, butter churners, gin makers, biscuit bakers. Salterbridge is an historic, private home on the Blackwater and opened by kind generosity of the owners. The Irish food industry is a huge part of our heritage, not to mention all the other important facets. Light supper - some wine - CRAICLY fires and lovely stories.
